The canister vacuum is often the choice for homes with mostly hard floors. Maria and I built a bed and breakfast in 2013. The building has Oak hardwood floors in the great room, kitchen, and dining area, with tile in the entry and baths. We had been upright owners for thirty years until Maria took a canister home to the B&B. I have grown to appreciate our SEBO canister. The user has all the tools onboard, the power foot easily disconnects to allow for various floor tools to be used. Canisters are relatively light and very adaptable. SEBO, in my opinion, makes the best canister vacuum in the world. SEBO is one of the very few vacuum manufacturers that build their own motors.
